Intermediate Wheel Throwing - $90
Beginner Wheel Throwing - $90

Discover the joy of creating with clay on the potter’s wheel! This hands-on beginner workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of wheel throwing — from centering clay and shaping simple forms.

No experience necessary — just bring your curiosity and creativity!

  • Class duration - 2.5 hours

  • Includes up to 3lbs clay, glazes, firing, and class tools

  • Must be 14+

  • Available in English and Spanish

Strengthen your throwing techniques and expand your creative range in this focused intermediate workshop. Designed for students with prior wheel experience, this session dives deeper into refining form, balance, and proportion while exploring more advanced projects such as lidded jars, pouring vessels, and altered shapes.

Prerequisite: Completion of a beginner wheel class or equivalent experience.

Beginner Hand Building - $90
Intermediate Hand Building - $150

Explore the art of ceramic hand-building in this 2.5-hour beginner-friendly workshop. Learn foundational techniques including pinch, coil, and slab construction while creating one or more functional or sculptural ceramic pieces such as bowls, plates, or small vessels.

No wheel is used in this workshop—just your hands, clay, and creativity. Our instructor will guide you step-by-step in a calm, supportive studio environment.

  • Workshop duration - 2.5 hours

  • Includes up to 3lbs of class clay

  • Glazes, firing, and studio tools

  • Must be 14+

This two-day intermediate hand-building workshop is designed for students with prior clay experience who want to refine their technique, explore surface design, and create more intentional ceramic forms.

Students will combine hand-building techniques, focusing on stronger construction, cleaner joins, and thoughtful proportions.

  • Two sessions, 2.5 hours each (5 hours total)

  • Includes up to 5lb of clay

  • Underglaze application during class

  • Clear dip glaze and firing by the studio

  • Must be 14+
